Sessions and Fees

We always encourage prospective parents and carers to come and visit to talk to us and learn about the preschool and what we provide. This visit gives the opportunity to have a look around at our facility and resources, learn about what we offer and talk through what they are wanting for their child in what is often their first preschool experience.

We are open Monday – Friday mornings from 9.15-12pm on a school term time basis only. We provide education, care, and support for 3–4-year-olds only on a five day a week basis.

If your child is not aged 3 before they are entitled to funding then they are welcome to be given a place at the nursery (as long as one is available).

An £15 cost per morning session is charged for unfunded children who want to be able to come to the nursery. This charge can be paid until the EYFE funding is able to be claimed starting the beginning of the next term date.

At Courtyard we encourage children attend a minimum of 3 sessions per week. This is to ensure continuity and for the well-being and settling of your child. It also gives the staff more time with them, enabling greater learning and development within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). However we take a flexible approach to ensure the needs of individual children and their families are being best met.
